veyns is built so we know as little as possible about you.

What we store

An account record: a random account id, the public halves of your device wallet keys and screen-lock credentials, device labels you can see on your account page, and a hash of your recovery code. That is the entire account.

What we never store

No name, email, phone number, or profile. No biometric data: your screen lock or fingerprint is verified by your device and proven to us cryptographically; the biometric itself never leaves your device.

What applications receive

A pairwise account id that is unique to that application and useless anywhere else, plus the claims shown on their consent screen. Applications never receive wallet keys, device identifiers, or anything linkable across services.
